Climate Change Reading
A couple of articles on global warming that I found interesting. Gregg Easterbrook makes the case for why it makes sense for former skeptics to join the call for action.
And here is a post on Real Climate discussing the scientific accuracy of Al Gore's new move on climate change, 'An Inconvenient Truth'. As usual on Real Climate, there is lots of interesting stuff in the comments section as well.

Great blog, Declan. Just wondering if you've seen this? The links from each talking point are spectacular.

Thanks for the links. After reading 'The Weather Makers' I think #7 on the list, Migration Related Stress' is a much bigger issue that a lot of people realize, although I'm thinking of it more from the perspective of other species, not humans.
From species which live in alpine ecosystems (and can't go any higher as temperatures warm), to species who face land or sea barriers to migrating towards the poles, to the disruption of symbiotic relationships where one species migrates and another doesn't, to the spread of species like the pine beetle, this could have some real unforeseen consequences.
