Better Find That Information Quick
Via the Gazetteer a Canadian Press (CP) article on suspicions that some of the 'protesters' at the North American Leader's summit in Montebello, Que. were actually cops looking to stir up trouble.

Update: The Quebec police have now admitted that the three 'protestors' in the video were actually cops. I assume that in future any media coverage of violent protests will carry a disclaimer that the violent, mask-wearing, rock-carrying anarchists in question are just as likely to be undercover cops.

This is no surprise. I was involved in the anti-cruise testing movement in Ottawa in the early 80's. One of the biggest shit disturbers in that movement turned out to be an RCMP informant. It is a short step from there to planting actual cops to stir up trouble and it has been 25 years.

Anon1 - normally I delete spam, but that is a pretty good video - obviously not legit of course.
Anon2 - Your assertion that I am a crazy conspiracy theorist might be a teeny bit more convincing if the police hadn't already admitted those three 'protesters' were actually cops. Oops! Care to offer an apology or a retraction?

And just one more teensy-weensy thing ....the cops admitted that they were projectile (ie. rock) carrying cops.
Oh, and a bigger thing....why were they there anyway given that this took place in the Green Zone, far away from any strategic targets.
Unless, of course, the target here was actually a group of people that were trying to prevent any and all provocations (and demanding that people with rocks put them down - not 'launch them as the Surete said in their official press release).
