Getting Things Done for Canadians

As if CAtO hadn't already accomplished enough this year, how's this for getting results:

December 7, CAtO says: "maybe there is progress online at the Star, even if they haven't updated the look of their hideous site since the summer of '87"

later that same month: The Star updates the look of their website. It's definitely an improvement although my early assessment is that it still needs some work.

You're welcome.

  • I, for one, thnak you O Wise CAtO Wizard.

Their old site was truly awful. The new one is a vast improvement, even if it still has some kinks to work out.

  • I'm sure the 85 people Torstar just canned love that new design.

  • Mark - that link doesn't work.

But as for the TorStar layoffs, an objective person wouldn't let their assessment of the layout be clouded by bitter feeling about being fired. It's not the new layout's fault - if anything it is the fault of the old layout, which was probably driving down revenues, contributing (in very small part, no doubt) to the need for layoffs.
