Do Europeans say that, "even a stopped clock is right once a day'?

I think Europeans still use the 12 hour clock, even if they describe time in 24 hours.
But a stopped clock could be right every morning!

Most of the Europeans I know would say "auch eine kaputte Uhr stimmt einmal am Tag," if they did say it. (But they don't.)
